Almost 200 dogs were rescued from the home of a well-known breeder in New Jersey, according to WNBC.
"All of these dogs seem to have had limited human contact and minimal to no veterinary care," the organization said on Facebook. The Monmouth County SPCA said it worked with St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center Tuesday morning to remove the dogs"from the squalor and bring them to safety." The animal welfare organization is now asking for donations to provide the canines with vaccinations, microchips, spay and neuter surgeries, food and shelter.
"A search of the home and other buildings located on the property uncovered over 170 dogs believed to be neglected," the release said."In addition, another 30 dogs were previously surrendered by the home owners."
