Political analyst Vusi Gumbi suggests that Ndlozi, who recently faced a strained relationship with the EFF, can learn from Godrich Gardee's successful political comeback. Gardee, after losing his position as secretary general and resigning from Parliament, re-established himself as a loyal party member and was elected as deputy president. However, political sciences lecturer Dr. Levy Ndou argues that the situations are not comparable, highlighting the absence of bad blood between Gardee and the EFF during his departure.
Ndlozi joined the EFF in 2013 - its year of inception - and has been representing it in Parliament for a decade. However, his relationship with the EFF recently went sour, resulting in him being absent from the party's recent national elective conference.
Gardee was the EFF’s first secretary general before losing the title in 2019 - and subsequently resigning from Parliament.
