After the first three picks, this year's NBA draft looks a bit murky. Forbes.com's expert contributors weighed in on how the next 27 picks could unfold.
:"Barrett would be a great fit on the Knicks, whether or not they add a superstar like Kevin Durant in free agency this summer. Last season, while sharing the court with fellow soon-to-be lottery picks Zion Williamson and Cam Reddish, Barrett put up plenty of points but also unselfishly served as Duke’s primary playmaker and facilitator on offense.
His well-rounded game—he was the first freshman in NCAA history to average at least 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game—allows him to contribute even when sharing the floor with other stars. On the other hand, if the Knicks strike out in free agency, Barrett can be the focal point of the offense, with the ability to score on all three levels and get to the free-throw line consistently. In addition, he won’t wilt under the bright lights of Madison Square Garden.
