"I call on them to stop their offensive, to respect international law, and to back U.N. efforts for peaceful solutions," the NATO secretary-general told reporters."This dangerous situation must be de-escalated." Syrian forces killed 33 Turkish soldiers in an air strike in Idlib on Thursday, according to Turkish officials — the largest number of deaths suffered by Turkey in a single day since it began intervening in Syria.
