Who doesn't enjoy free things? If you love nature and you've added a few of South African National Parks' (SANParks) picturesque destinations to your adventure bucket list but just haven't had the chance to tick them off yet, you're in luck.

Who doesn’t enjoy free things? If you love nature and you’ve added a few of South African National Parks’ picturesque destinations to your adventure bucket list but just haven’t had the chance to tick them off yet, you’re in luck.

SANParks will be presenting its 18th annual SA National Parks Week from 16 to 24 September 2023 and will once again include weekends at some of the national parks.Each year under the theme ‘Know Your National Parks’, SANParks waves entry fees goodbye and allows eager day visitors to enter most of the 21 national parks across the country between Monday and Friday .

If you’re excited to view the wildflowers of Namaqua National Park or the tuxedo’ed African Penguins of Boulders Beach, you may be a little disappointed as entry fees for these will remain as is. But with our beautiful country being as bountiful as it is, there’s still so much on offer. Here are a few national parks to check out this SA National Parks Week
