Allwyn has confirmed The National Lottery will move from its Tolpits Lane HQ to a new Watford site in Clarendon Road.
Operator Allwyn has announced that Watford will remain the home of the National Lottery “for years to come” as it will be moving to a new site at The Clarendon Works in Clarendon Road.
It plans to move to the new building, developed and built by construction firm Regal and set to be finished next month, by the spring of 2025.Allwyn CEO Andria Vidler said: “The National Lottery and Watford go hand in hand, so we're absolutely delighted to be relocating our home to a new site in the area.
“This marks our commitment not only to Watford and the wonderful community here, but to our ambition to create a net zero National Lottery with more modern, sustainable head office fit for our future plans.”The company says it selected The Clarendon Works, which is completely powered by renewable energy, because of its green credentials as well as its health and wellbeing standards.
