Dr Nandipha's brother Nkosinathi Sekeleni was paid R30 000 to spill the beans on Showmax docue-series 'Tracking Thabo Bester'.
Bester and Magudumana filed urgent applications to interdict the docu-series airing, which was set to premiere on 15 March. However, on the same day, the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg gave Showmax the greenlight to air the docu-series on the video-on-demand service.Despite attempting to extort R100 000 for his silence from his sibling, Sekeleni has been hailed by many as a hero for spilling the beans on Nandipha and Bester.
Regarding the documentary, in an affidavit, Sekeleni said Idea Candy approached him around April 2023. This happened when his sister and Bester were arrested in Arusha, Tanzania.
