Rosmah Mansor, wife to disgraced former premier Najib Abdul Razak and a convicted criminal, will visit Singapore for six weeks after the Court of Appeal on Tuesday approved the temporary release of her passport.
Following the deputy public prosecutor’s lack of objection to her application, a three-judge panel made the decision. Rosmah will leave for Singapore on Thursday, the deputy public prosecutor suggested that Rosmah return her passport by May 10. Her attorney also stated that they will return Rosmah’s passport within a week of her return to the country.
The appeal against her conviction is set to last four days, beginning Jul. 11, according to her lawyer Jagjit Singh, and will stay for six weeks.
