The announcement marks a major blow to the Spaniard's hopes of being fully fit for the US Open which begins in New York at the end of the month. "We have decided not to travel to Montreal and continue with the training sessions without forcing ourselves.The 36-year-old, who is a five-time winner in Montreal, has not played since pulling out of his Wimbledon semi-final with Nick Kyrgios after failing to recover from an abdominal tear he suffered in the quarters.
