The South West Storm will be defending their title in the Nova Scotia Regional Junior Hockey League. The best of seven championship series against the EH Ryson Construction Penguins gets underway on April 1 at 7 p.m. and April 2 at 3 p.m. at the Sandy Wickens Memorial Arena in Barrington. The Storm defeated the Eastern Shore Thunder 4-1 in the best-of-seven semi-final series. The Penguins took out the Sackville Knights in game seven of that series on March 27 to win the series 4-3. Holland says fan support “has been great” this season, with the stands at the Sandy Wickens Memorial Arena pretty well full, especially during the last few games. “I’m expecting a big crowd on Saturday,” he said.
