Gamble wasn’t a large child, said his brother. “He was kind of goofy — that was his play — he was a funny, goofy kid, and I think he got targeted a bit for that.”Gamble was in his early teens when he was attacked on the way home from school. “There were points where he couldn’t understand if someone was happy, or sad, or if it was a joke … He couldn’t pick up on some of the social queues.”“It’s not that he wasn’t — he just couldn’t really show it.”“He was really good at Call of Duty; he was playing it all the time,” said his brother.Like many teens, he had crazy sleep schedules that kept him awake and gaming into the middle of the night and sleeping well into the afternoon, said his brother.
