Much of New Jersey was basking in sunshine and highs in the low to mid-80s, while coastal areas were stuck in the 70s because of the cool ocean breeze. In addition to the front that has stalled out over the state’s northern and central region, forecasters say a weak cold front from the west may move across the state and bring isolated rain showers and possible thunderstorms with gusty winds Tuesday evening or Tuesday night.
