A one-vehicle crash took the life of a Lawrence man early Sunday in Mercer County, the New Jersey State Police said. Rajbir Singh, 47, was driving a sport-utility vehicle north on Interstate 295 in Hamilton when it ran off the road to the right near mile marker 63.2 at 7:25 a.m., the State Police said in a statement.
Singh’s vehicle traveled up an embankment, went airborne, overturned and landed partially submerged in a small body of water. The vehicle also struck a chain-link fence and several trees, the State Police said.
