The first video, which featured the “The Pink Panther Theme,” shows the men walking around a storage area of Ledgewood PowerSports as, unbeknownst to them, officers from the Roxbury Police had already set up a perimeter around the dealership. The next shows them as they realize the police are closing in on them.
“Just realizing that maybe this wasn’t such a good idea , our burglars are seen displaying not so terrific superman diving skills, and every criminal for themselves behavior while they quickly realize PWC trailers do not make a great spring board for scaling a fence,” the dealership wrote.“Humm...looks to us like there truly was NO WHERE TO RUN when your a thief in this town,” the dealership said in another post. “All we can say is....precise and well thought out execution of arrest.
“I made the videos to put a positive spin on a very scary situation,” Schmidt said. “I could have lost over half a million in inventory, but the Roxbury Police and County K9 made sure we didn’t lose one vehicle.”
