Melissa Klapper won about $25,000 and will back to play on Tuesday's episode
She was the front-runner going into Final Jeopardy on Monday night.
The category was “Countries of Africa,” and the clue was, “At one time, a province of the Roman Empire, this kingdom is known to Arabic scholars as Al-Maghrib Al-Aqsa, ‘The Far West.’” All three contestants guessed the correct answer, which was “Morocco,” but it was Klapper’s bet outdoing her fellow contestants by $1 that cinched the game in her favor.“Jeopardy!” airs new episodes Monday through Friday.
