The latest Modern Warfare 3 Zombies trailer showcases more aggressive undead and the return of a memorable series villain.
Activision recently posted also includes the source of the sudden zombie outbreak. Naturally, Zakhaev, the Russian ultranationalist arms dealer, caused the undead pandemic after he and his crew retrieved a vial containing an unknown substance that, when inhaled, turns any living or dead being into a mindless brain-eater.
It’s currently unclear what your main objectives will be, but since the developers have teased it as an extraction mode, you and your group will likely need to retrieve a specific object, which you will need to bring out of the Exclusion Zone. Naturally, other squads will also be able to assist you during this mission, so hordes of zombies won’t be able to overwhelm you.
The PvE extraction mode will be made available alongside the launch of MW3 on November 10, 2023, according to the Zombies trailer. With this in mind, you won’t have to remain patient for too long now, as only a handful of weeks are left until the launch of the highly anticipated next series entry.
