Musa Khawula's legal woes deepen as he faces multiple charges in court, including crimen injuria.
He appeared in court for formal bail application, however, the defence was not ready to continue with the matter, resulting in a postponement to January 29.
Mjonondwane added that nothing prohibits Khawula from making a formal bail application and the presiding officer will decide if he is a suitable candidate to be released on bail. “In court, the State opposed bail due to the accused's pending 2022 murder case in Western Cape and an outstanding warrant of arrest for reckless and negligent driving,” said Mjonondwane.
