The provincial Fire Marshal’s Office determined that the Aug. 19 fire was accidental, and the cause of the fire was undetermined due to the high level of damage. Stephen MacKay, fire chief for the Murray Harbour Fire Department, previously told SaltWire Network the building was engulfed in flames as firefighters arrived.
