A conflict has emerged between the SAPS and the NPA regarding the involvement of suspects arrested in connection with the tragic murder of Ditebogo Jr. Phalane.
Confusion arises in the investigation of the murder of five-year-old Ditebogo Jr. Phalane as police and the NPA offer conflicting statements
Based on two different statements from the South African Police Service and the National Prosecuting Authority , it is still unknown whether those who were supposedly arrested for Ditebogo's murder were charged with murder. The confusion was further compounded when it was revealed that one of the suspects, arrested for gun possession, was already out on bail for attempted murder, hijacking, and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
