Thirty-nine local organizations will receive funding and in-kind support in 2023 through Prince Edward County’s Municipal Community Grant Program.
Dominique Jones, Executive Director of The County Foundation, says, “Facing several difficult decisions, the adjudication committee that reviews the applications focused on community impact, financial need, inclusivity and geographic equity. We look forward to seeing the impact of these projects.” This year, municipal staff and The County Foundation will review the grant program and policy to ensure it reflects the new strategic priorities of this term of Council as well as findings from key community studies, including Thrive, Vital Signs, the 10-Year Community Plan, and more.
