Children from The Pony Paddocks in Haslingden took part in a wide range of activities including apple bobbing and a Halloween Scavenger Hunt.READ MORE: They enjoyed hot chocolates with their toasted S’mores.Sixteen people and two dogs joined Abi for a walk from Whitaker Park in Rawtenstall to The Halo in Haslingden.Children from Good as Gold Childcare Centre in Waterfoot also got into the Halloween spirit by acting out the story of Room on The Broom in their costumes.
Residents and staff at Lavender Hills Care Home in Ramsbottom welcomed a little Move and Groove baby and toddler group for a Halloween Trick or Treat special on October 31. They danced to the skeleton song while shaking their pom poms dressed up as witches, pumpkins and skeletons.After all the excitement of singing and dancing, they grabbed their treat bags and followed the spider Trick or Treat trail.
The children had to follow the spider webs to find the hidden treats placed with their ‘grand-friends’ and throughout Lavender Hills. Before she left, one of the care home’s usual Mover and Groovers, Alice, handed out her own treats she had brought in for her ‘grand-friends’ which were warmly received.
