The mum is now looking to make unforgettable memories with her children
A mum-of-three with stage four melanoma is warning others to be careful after she spent her teenage years having sunbeds.
Medical professionals thought it initially started as breast cancer, however, tests revealed it had developed from the melanoma. Recent results have shown that the cancer has now spread to her brain and is present in her tonsil and one side of her tongue, reports Chronicle Live. The former florist said: "It was devastating, I just felt like my whole world was falling apart.
The mum did not notice any symptoms of melanoma before she received the diagnosis in July 2020. She said it wasn't until she began suffering from pain and swelling that she realised she needed to be checked out. A friend of Tanya's set up a GoFundMe to ensure that the mum is able to make unforgettable memories with her children.
