A mum has opened up on the "six years of hell" her family have endured after her daughter's hydrocephalus diagnosis shortly after birth. Casey Travers hailed her brave little girl, Farrah, who has been in and out hospitals her whole life.
Casey, from Ardoyne, Belfast, said: “She’s had a shunt in her brain since she was three months old. It’s been six years of hell. I have three other kids who can get up and go out and play. Casey, 30, said: “She’s been coping with it since she was a small baby so she’s used to it now. When she’s in the hospital she is unwell and the hospital staff look after her. But she hates the thought of the hospital [and] doesn’t want to go because she doesn’t think it will help her.
