Multiple people were injured at Michigan State University by an active shooter, campus police said. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
An active shooter injured multiple people at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., Monday evening, according to campus police.
More than an hour after the first reports of shots fired around 8:30 p.m., several law-enforcement units were searching the campus including university buildings, local streets and wooded areas, looking for a suspect. Police enlisted an armored Bearcat vehicle and a helicopter to assist in the search, according to police radio traffic.
