MultiChoice Africa and Uganda Beef Up Collaboration in ICT
have announced a new cooperation agreement in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding- MoU. The signed MoU is aimed at establishing stronger partnerships, digitalization, enhancing the local content sector in Uganda, protecting intellectual property rights, and developing skills within the applicable legal frameworks.
The signing ceremony, held in Johannesburg for the purpose of benchmarking technical facilities, was graced by the presence of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, Dr. Aminah Zawedde.The MoU encompasses MAH and its affiliate, MultiChoice Uganda, as the local partner, and further provides for the continued strengthening of future cooperation between MAH and the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance.
