Pattersons has become a Scouse institution since it opened its doors in 2015 on Gradwell Street in Liverpool city centre. Its succulent fried chicken is proving so popular that the business is expanding across the north west.

I was a regular. I was familiar with the people who worked here. I loved the brand.” “It's the care and the attention to detail and the consistency to detail. With our fried chicken, it takes a day and half for us to be ready to sell.”
The location of the restaurant's original site is also a big selling point. It is part of the Wolstenholme Square, formerly the location of the famous Cream nightclub, which is now home to other unique venues such as Switch CoffeeBar and SipSin.
