The 15 Holyrood members claimed for a range of expenses including office costs, travel and accommodation.

With Holyrood sitting in a remote or hybrid model for much of the year MSPs would have needed to travel between the two cities less often than in previous years. Some claimed for furniture for staff working from home with Nicola Sturgeon claiming £367 for a table and chair for staff working from home and Conservative MSP, Sandesh Gulhane, claiming £226 for a chair for staff.The claims were for the year from April 2021 to March 2022.Kidd’s claims totalled £27,848 for the year 2021/21.
The lowest level of claims was submitted by Kaukab Stewart Kelvin SNP MSP, elected in May 2021, with £8475 worth of expenses. The second lowest was Ivan McKee, SNP MSP for Provan with £9374, followed by Annie Wells Conservative MSP for Glasgow with £13,462.
