A house belonging to Mpumi Mophatlane, also known as Mrs Mops, and husband, Isaac Mophatlane, was auctioned on Wednesday and received a R5 million offer.
Reality TV star Mpumi and her husband, businessman Isaac Mophatlane, are set to lose their five-bedroom double-storey house in Waterkloof, Pretoria.
Her luxurious home was auctioned by Bidders Choice on Wednesday and an offer of R5.8 million was made. However, it has not been officially sold as the bank has not approved the offer yet, the auctioneers told City Press. There is a seven-day confirmation period. We have not yet received any confirmation from the bank. It was auctioned yesterday; we have submitted the offer, so we await feedback from the bank to say whether or not they accept the offer.
Before the auction, the bidders were allowed to view the house on September 30. Those who participated in the auction paid a R20 000.00 registration fee.Two of the bedrooms in the house have their own bathrooms and the main one comprises an en-suite. Other things the house has include formal lounges, a laundry, his/her dressing room, a wine cellar, a large formal patio, a pyjama lounge, an entertainment area, a swimming pool and a borehole.
