Should President Cyril Ramaphosa declare a public holiday, following the Springboks success at the 2023 Rugby World Cup
Just barely 24hours after the Springboks retained the Webb Ellis trophy at the Stade de France with a 11-12 win over New Zealand at the Rugby World Cup, South Africans have turned to social media to requestPresidential spokesperson Vincent Magwenya on Friday hinted at the possibility of the country being granted a public holiday should South Africa win the world cup.Rise Mzansi leader Mmusi Maimane has also told the President on post on X of the upcoming holiday.
The President is expected to address the nation tonight at 8pm, however it still not yet clear what the address would be about.
