Mpumalanga ANC looking into murder-accused Lukhele's 'expired' membership
Ntwaagae SelekaA Mpumalanga legislature employee who was accused of murdering EFF leader Godrich Gardee’s daughter, Hillary Gardee , has returned to work but must still meet the ANC about his ‘expired’ membership.
Lukhele returned to work last week following the Mpumalanga High Court’s decision to provisionally withdraw the charges on April 12 after a state witness failed to arrive for the trial scheduled for four weeks.Mlombo had said that Lukhele would be subjected to a disciplinary hearing before he was allowed to resume his duties, but, instead he met the legislature’s management.
Mpumalanga ANC secretary, Muzi Chirwa, said that Lukhele’s ANC membership remained expired. The organisation investigated Lukhele’s membership after he was arrested.Chirwa said:
