Some of the Mpumalanga ANC branches could not nominate candidates to contest positions in the national executive committee in December due to deliberate disruptions, dysfunctional QR codes, scanning problems and failure to reach quorums

Disruption has affected KaNyamazane branches and, consequently, one person has died, one injured and there have been damages to some vehicles. There is no amount of discontent or disagreement which should make members of the ANC attack and fight one another. There has been no indication that the branch members were fighting over their differences on the names of candidates that should stand for positions.
