DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA - OCTOBER 30: Ramahlwe Mphahlele of AmaZulu FC during the DStv Premiership match between AmaZulu FC and Stellenbosch FC at King Zwelithini Stadium on October 30, 2022 in Durban, South Africa.

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns star Ramahlwe Mphahlele may not take too long before finding a new club as the Siya crew has learnt that he has attracted interest from Sekhukhune United. Mphahlele was surprisingly released from AmaZulu FC last month, though he had been one of the regulars in the team. It is understood that the defender and Keagan Buchanan had a fallout with Usuthu coach Romain Folz, which led to the club deciding to release both players.

The 33-year-old had been with the Durban-based club since August, following his release from Amakhosi at the end of last season. Now, news reaching this publication is that Sekhukhune are showing interest in the veteran campaigner to reunite him with his former coach, Brandon Truter.Get 14 days free to read all the stories on SNL24.com.
