ASIRT concluded two RCMP officers acted reasonably in 2020 when they shot and killed a man in Blairmore who drove his vehicle at them

They concluded the man inside a Chevy Silverado pickup truck was the one being sought and the officers ordered him three times to exit his vehicle with his hands up. “ ran around the front of the police vehicle and began to discharge his handgun at the suspect continued to reverse in a circular pattern around the police vehicle.”
CCTV footage of the 36-second episode shows the officers with arms raised in shooting position at point-blank range of the pickup truck.
