A mountain lion emerged from the brush and pounced on a woman's dog while they were walking, officials said.

CDFW spokesperson Ken Paglia said the agency set a trap and if the mountain lion is caught, it will be relocated to a remote area of San Luis Obispo County. The mountain lion may be the same animal that has been spotted in the same area a couple time in the past two months.
