Motsepe: Nothing frustrates me more than...
CAF president Patrice Motsepe has revealed that teams having to play official fixtures outside of their own countries frustrates him.
Earlier this week, the South African businessman currently at CAF's helm announced that the 2024 edition of the African Nations Championship will take place in east Africa between 1 and 28 February 2025. Speaking at a press conference in Nairobi earlier this week, the football administrator stated that football cannot be built in a country if its own national team has to travel outside of it to play official matches due to bans or a failure to satisfy CAF or FIFA requirements.
"Nothing frustrates me more than a national team or a country having to go play outside," the federation's president said.
