A number of roads will be impacted
Police are advising motorists not attending a parade in a Co Down town this evening to avoid the area due to traffic disruption.
A band parade is planned to take place in Newcastle on Saturday evening, October 15 at 7.30pm and a number of roads will be impacted. Police say they will facilitate motorists in the area as best they can but have urged people to avoid the area if they're not attending.Posting on Twitter, a PSNI spokesperson wrote: "There is a band parade in Newcastle this evening starting at 7:30pm. Traffic disruption can be expected along the following: Bryansford Avenue, Bryansford Road, Central Promenade, Shimna Road.
