A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after crashing into a parked car last night . The driver of the Yamaha bike hit a parked Ford Kuga just after 8pm in Mossley.
Initial police enquiries have found that the crash happened on Manchester Road near the junction with Mill Road at around 8.05pm. A GMP Tameside spokesman said: "Investigators appeal for information or dash cam footage following a serious collision in Tameside. Enquiries have so far established that a Yamaha motorcycle collided with a parked Ford Kuga on Manchester Road, Mossley near the junction with Mill Road at around 20.05 last night .
"The rider of the motorcycle is in hospital with serious injuries. His family have been informed. Anyone with information should contact investigators via 0161 856 4741 quoting 3026 17/09/22. Information about crime can also be shared anonymously via the independent charity – Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111."
