A motorcyclist died Saturday after speeding through a red light in Aurora and crashing into another vehicle, police said.
Officers responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of East Iliff Avenue and South Quintero Street at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, according to aThe preliminary investigation revealed the man riding the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Iliff Avenue when he collided with a Honda SUV traveling southbound on Quintero Street, the release stated.
Police said the motorcyclist was “traveling at a high rate of speed and disregarded the red light at the intersection” before crashing into the Honda.
