Accident happened this morning near Willow River rest area east of Prince George
An accident involving a motorcycle and a semi-trailer truck has closed Highway 16 East in both directions at the Willow River rest area.
“Police are advising that the highway will be shut down in both directions for an unknown period of time. We are currently working to determine if there are any detours in the area. Drivers are advised to check with DriveBC before heading out today,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.The accident is between Upper Fraser Rd and Willow River rest area, about 39 kilometres east of Prince George .Watch the Citizen website for further updates.
