More than four decades have passed since a woman was brutally murdered in San Diego's Little Italy on Christmas Day.

SAN DIEGO — Several years went by before Rita Castro was able to celebrate Christmas again after tragedy struck her during the holiday in 1978.

Investigators believe Serpa was killed on Christmas evening when two people broke into her home through her kitchen window, stabbing her in her bed."Everybody in my family died in that house. My dad died in the house; my brother had a heart attack in the house," said Castro. “It’s almost like she had a premonition that something bad would happen. She locked her doors; she had no visitors," said Tony Johnson, a senior investigator with the DA's office.

The Italian data protection authority said Thursday that OpenAI promised to set out measures to address the concerns during a video call with company executives including its CEO. Those remedies have not been detailed. The watchdog says it didn’t want to hamper AI’s development but stressed to OpenAI the importance of complying with the 27-nation EU’s stringent privacy rules.
