Forensic team continues to examine nearby house where a man was seen speeding away in a vehicle just before the fatal crash.
It wasn’t uncommon to see the police pull up to the house at 14937-35th Ave. in Surrey’s Rosemary Heights area, according to neighbours. But what happened Tuesday morning shook the quiet little street.
Dawson expected to see someone emerge to talk to the police or perhaps surrender. What he didn’t expect was for a car to come roaring out of the garage, down the driveway and take off down 35th Avenue. Only the driver was visible, a man who looked to be in his 20s, Dawson said. “I think had those two bodies in the car and ran into that wall, just accelerated into that big concrete wall,” Dawson said. “It looks like a double-murder/suicide.”
The mother was described by neighbours as being in her 50s, the boys in their 20s. Neighbours believe the boys’ father is out of town.
