The supermarket is spreading festive cheer with free cake this December

Morrisons is giving all customers who spend less than £2 a free sweet treat next week, helping spread festive cheer as visitors complete some last-minute Christmas shopping. Those who visit a Morrisons cafe will be able to enjoy a free cake - Christmas is for sharing, after all.

The sweet treats included in the offer are the We Love Cake Mince Pie, We Love Cake Ice Christmas Cake, White Forest Cake and the Victoria Sponge Cake - ideal for taking a welcome break from Christmas shopping.And looking at the menu, most of the drinks are all under £2, with a pot of tea costing £1.29 and an American costing £1.59, while a mocha will set you back £1.99 and a hot chocolate £1.89.

Emily Waite, BREW Buying Manager at Morrisons, said: “In the lead up to Christmas, we want to do all we can to spread some festive cheer and help make our customers’ shopping experience as enjoyable as possible. We’ve picked some of the most popular cakes to be included in the offer and hope our customers enjoy them!”
