Morgan Stanley predicts a revival of the US metals and mining industry to reduce reliance on China for critical minerals.

He said the big winner of 'permitting reform' that is 'geared toward promoting the development of mining projects' will be the 'Junior Mining and Exploration industry.' One company that stands to benefit is MP Materials, the largest US-based miner of rare earths. The analyst said this company is a 'play on accelerating adoption of electric vehicles and electrification trends in wind turbines.
