An animal rescue group has removed 26 dachshunds suffering from various ailments from an Allegheny County home that officials described as 'deplorable.'
Both the Trib and WTAE reported that the dogs were suffering from malnourishment, dental disease, matted fur, overgrown nails, and eye infections.
