A group of more than 100 bikers have helped make a final wish come true for a terminally ill care home resident.
Rookie, from Burnley, told LancsLive that he'd spotted an urgent post for bikers to do a drive-by for a care home resident. "The man’s reaction was outstanding. I could see the smile on his face as we rode past, which made braving the cold and wet well worth it. I was very honoured to be able to contribute to such a heart-warming occasion and I’m very proud of everyone who turned up to make this happen.
After being treated to the drive-by of more than 100 motorbikes, David was even visited by Mark Lemon, the manager of his favourite speedway team, Belle Vue Aces.
