Some areas will get rain, while other parts of New Jersey could get multiple inches of snow.

AccuWeather.com says 3 to 6 inches of snow will drop on the northwestern part of New Jersey starting Friday night.The weather service’s New York office — which covers Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Union and Passaic counties — is holding off on specific predictions, saying there will be a period of rain and snow Friday night into Saturday along with gusty northeast winds.
“While confidence is high on a system moving through on Friday night/ Saturday, specific impacts, precipitation type and any accumulations remains somewhat unclear at this time,” said the Mount Holly office of the weather service, which covers New Jersey’s other 16 counties.
