Despite their acrimonious relationship, an increasing number of divorcing parents are spending time with their children during the proceedings or after, thanks to a programme which sees counsellors supervising visits.

A total of 164 families went through the supervised visitation or supervised exchange programme last year, up from 133 families in 2017 and 112 in 2016 when the programme started, a Family Justice Courts spokesman told The Straits Times.Enjoy unlimited access to ST's best work Subscribe Now
