Springbok icon Percy Montgomery predicts a famous victory for fellow centurion Eben Etzebeth and his teammates against Wales in Cape Town on Saturday.
Etzebeth will become the seventh and youngest South African to reach 100 Test caps when the Boks look to trump the Welsh and clinch the three-Test series at Cape Town Stadium.
The towering lock is following in the footsteps of Victor Matfield, Bryan Habana, Tendai Mtawarira, John Smit, Jean de Villiers and Montgomery, the first to achieve the memorable milestone.“I think Wales should have won the first Test. South Africa were very lucky and the calls went their way.
“It’s going to be a different game on Saturday and South Africa have put out a full-strength side with a strong bench. I think you’ll see a different game. It’s going to be a cracking Test match, though, a typical Wales versus South Africa match. It’ll be confrontational, there are going to be a few sore shoulders after that game.
“I love the Welsh and there is always good banter but I’ve got to say South Africa by 15 points. Wales have got a good side but I think with the Boks at full strength it’ll be tough.”
