Drouin has 26 points in 46 games with the Canadiens this season.

Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin will miss Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning after failing to show up for a team meeting, Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis said.

Drouin, 27, has 26 points in 46 games with the Canadiens this season. The five-foot-eleven forward is currently riding a three-game point streak and has eight goals in nine games thus far in March. Drouin spent parts of three seasons with the Lightning before being traded to the Canadiens in 2017 as part of a deal that sent defenseman Mikhail Sergachev and a second-round pick to Tampa Bay.
