Monkeypox in Canada: The first case of monkeypox in B.C. was confirmed on June 6

Montreal public health director Dr. Mylene Drouin had said that although the infections were likely acquired through sexual activity, monkeypox is not considered a sexually transmitted disease, “and we don’t want to stigmatize one particular community.”Article content The virus doesn’t spread easily between people.
